Creative Studio · Custom Website Design & Build / SEO
A website as fun as the parties
DK Creative needed a site as fun as the parties it styles, and one that could actually win local searches. Every section was designed around a job: show the work, prove the social chops, cover the travel radius and turn visitors into booked projects.

The build

01 · Homepage hero
A hello you can’t miss
An oversized HELLO, a hand-lettered tagline and arched photo frames set the tone in one screen, with Start a Project and See Services as the two clear next steps. A services marquee runs underneath so visitors see everything DK does before they scroll.

02 · Services
Seven ways to make it pretty
A numbered service index links to a dedicated page for each offering: photography, social and content, graphic design, florals, event decor, consulting, and SEO and websites. Each page targets its own search intent.

03 · Portfolio
Made to be noticed
A dark, gallery-style portfolio lets the color in DK’s work pop, with tags on every piece (tablescape, florals, balloon install, bridal shower, custom favors) and a load-more button that keeps the page fast.

04 · Social proof
Proof’s in the grid
Phone mockups of the client Instagram feeds DK manages, each with industry, follower count and handle, turn social media management into something visitors can see rather than read about.

05 · Reels
A filmstrip of reels and posts
Two rows of film-strip frames link straight to the reels and posts on Instagram, so the content work stays fresh without re-uploading video to the site.

06 · About
Hi, I’m Danielle
A founder section pairs Danielle’s own Instagram profile with her story, ten years as a florist before marketing, so visitors know exactly who will be styling their event.

07 · Local SEO
Have florals, will travel
Vintage “Greetings from” postcards map the two-hour service radius: Capital Region, Saratoga and Lake George, Southern Vermont, the Berkshires, the Hudson Valley, the Catskills and Central New York.

08 · Lead capture
Let’s make something fun
The Start a Project form uses tap-to-select chips for services and budget, an event date field and a newsletter opt-in, so every inquiry arrives with the details Danielle needs to quote.

09 · Footer
Got a party that needs some love?
A closing call to action, full service and studio links, a newsletter sign-up and a 21+ notice for alcohol retail client work round out every page.

10 · Service page
Service pages built to rank locally
Each service gets its own page. Photography leads with “Branding photographer in Albany, NY & the Capital Region,” a plain-language intro, a quote button and a what’s-included list, so the page answers the search before anyone scrolls.

11 · Team
Meet the person behind the camera
A pinned-photo introduction to John, DK’s photographer, with links to book a shoot and see his portfolio. Real people on service pages build trust and support E-E-A-T.

12 · Client spotlight
Client spotlights inside the service
Spotlights like Karli Jillian Esthetics show real shoots with a short story and what-we-did tags, proving the service on the same page that sells it.

13 · Portfolio
Product shots that sell the glow
A clean six-image grid of product photography follows each spotlight, so visitors can judge the style before they inquire.

14 · Process + FAQ
Easy as one, two, three
A three-step how-it-works strip and service-specific FAQs answer the questions that hold people back, including what to bring and what a shoot costs.

15 · Internal linking
Better together
Cross-sell cards link photography to social media, graphic design and SEO, with chips for the remaining services and service areas, keeping visitors moving through the site and spreading link equity.
